Hull City have beaten Middlesbrough tonight in this tense game. Hull dominated the game, they deserved the victory they had 48% possession and Middlesbrough had 52% possession.  Goals came from Markovic, Niasse , Hernandez and Maguire and for Boro, Negredo and De Roon controversially scored.

Middlesbrough took an early lead thanks to a cross from Traore which found Negrado who hooked it in past Jakupovic. Hull weren’t behind for long an Andy Robertson deflected cross led to a scramble in the box, before Markovic finally tapped it in. 10 minutes later Hull took the lead thanks to Oumar Niasse after he coolly finished a headed down ball from Hernandez. 5 minutes later Hull made it 3-1, this time Abel Hernandez scored from a great pass by Kamil Grosicki and Hernandez side footed in.

Boro got back in the game and made it 3-2 thanks to De Roon but it should’ve been ruled offside, three Middlesbrough players were in offside positions. Hull made it 4-2, this time from Harry Maguire. Hull City had a free kick whipped in to the far post and Maguire ghosted in and scored a beautiful header to secure all three points for the Tigers.
