Dynamos off to an electric start !

Beverley Town Dynamo began their league campaign with an emphatic win at Hessle Barracudas in their opening league match in the youth 11v11 format as u13s.

Having being put through a gruelling training schedule pre-season with a back to basics approach including ‘tyre dragging’ and ‘running hills’ it seems the old training ways may be about to pay off.

Manager John Galloway commented : ” We had a great finish to our last season as 9v9 winning both league and cup as u12s but didn’t want complacency to set in over the summer , so we decided to mix it up a bit playing some out of town friendlies and tournaments as a reward for hard work if training went to plan” , he went on to say : ” To give them credit the boys all worked hard in the training drills as if they were on trial with the club for the first time , this we rewarded with friendlies and tournaments laid on for them that left them unbeaten all summer … including winning a national tournament at Blackpool back in May !”

On the downside we lost Jack Cutler who finally put pen to paper with Hull City , however the summer also had an upside which saw exciting signings Kane Morris and Lewis Pidd-Hicks begin their Dynamo careers.
