Charity Football Day to raise funds for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Hull Women and Children’s Hospital

Written by

Following the care and support given to Lee and his partner Claire by the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Hull Women and Children’s before their son Michael sadly passed away, team manager Lee Drury has organised a charity Football day in his honour and to raise important funds for the unit.

Taking place on Sunday 5th June at Dene Park Sports Ground the event will feature two teams that Lee coaches and the fixtures are as follows:

  • 1:15pm KO – Waterloo FC All-Stars v Hull City EX Tigers
  • 3:30pm KO – Springhead Spartans U13’s v North Ferriby U13’s

The day will be fun for all the family and include a raffle, bouncy castle as well as food and drinks.

Lee is looking for local companies to provide sponsorship for the event, which will be backed by radio, social media and poster coverage. Business are also being asked to dig deep and donate prizes for the raffle.

If you think you can help support this great cause contact Lee Drury on 07572042519 or
