East Riding Leisure Centre Goole has announced a £300k+ investment in its current Tone Zone gym.
The project which will take around 3 weeks to complete, will take place in the late Summer and will bring the centre up to the latest standards recently installed at Withernsea, Beverley and Haltemprice.
Features of the new centre include the Virtual Active software that allows users to run or cycle through fantastic destinations around the world.
The new look 70 station gym will also feature stations in the free weights area, a matted area for sit ups, and a TRX wall (which can have multiple users at the same time), three multi-functional trainers, two power plates, and all cardio and strength machines.
As well as the addition of Vibroplates, new equipment will be adapted for wheelchair users and the spin studio will feature new Keiser M3 indoor cycles and new flooring.
During the refurbishment project, the centre will remain open with a temporary relocated gym facility along with additional class provision being made available to all members. For more information, visit the East Riding Leisure website.
