HULL FUTSAL CLUB have today appointed current FC Halifax Town player and former North Ferriby United FC Captain Danny Clarke as are Head of Talent ID & Recruitment.

Danny will work closely with club captain Jonathon Prosser, and player coaches Grant Percival Steve Janney, Danny assumes responsibility for the organisation and management of player recruitment at all levels across the club.

Danny will evaluate all aspects of Hull Futsal Club’s player recruitment function, including the processes and systems used for scouting players at all levels throughout the area to ensure Hull Futsal Club is best positioned to achieve its targets in this and future seasons.

I’d like to welcome Danny to his new role with the club. Danny’s achievements and reputation will help further promote the sport of Futsal within the City of Hull. Danny will be in control of identifying, scouting and developing players at the club and through his DC Coaching & Ultimate Games projects.
We are delighted to have him on board.

Coach Joe Duffy explained how this is a long term partnership for the two, “Danny and I are looking at building the game of Futsal from the bottom up, introducing a new concept of Futsal into primary schools, Futsal 4’s (F4), with the support of the Hull school games organisers and other partners.

Danny said, “I was ecstatic when I was offered the role. To be appointed in the sector was perfect for me as my main focus in all of my current projects is to identify talent. I have always had the perception of Futsal being just 5-aside football, however it is a lot more technical than that, with specific attributes being a necessity. I will be using my high tech equipment through my company Sports Equipment Hire (SEH) to test and develop players on these attributes.”

Hull Fustal Club have entered the FA Futsal Cup, so a series of friendlies and training sessions overseen by Danny will be taking place shortly. To put your name forward please contact Danny directly on his Facebook page.
