Hall Road Rangers will invite North Ferriby United to Haworth Park on Saturday afternoon as their pre-season campaign under new manager Dave Ricardo kicks off. In a repeat of their first ever game at Haworth Park back in 2015, Dave Ricardo’s boys will be looking to get their first win under the new boss. With new sponsor East Park Chippy on the front of their shirts and in front of the new score board sponsored by Lime Property and Business 101 their surroundings at Haworth are ever changing and improving.
“Things are going from strength to strength here” said manager Dave Ricardo. “We are signed on a great bunch of players and that is in no small way down to the facilities that we have here at Haworth and the partners we are involved with”
“Things have changed even in the few weeks I have been here and I can see even more to come as more and more people want to get involved with us” he furthered.
Kick off for the annual fixture against newly promoted North Ferriby will be 3pm with new manager, Steve Housham, also looking to see how his new team will perform.
Match Day mascots for the day will include children from Hall Road Rangers newly formed under 7s side. The boys and girls are all graduates of Rangers Soccer School and will be excited to walkout in front of so many people. New team Captain Ashley Dexter will be looking to lead from the front and impress in front of the home fans.
With the game sponsored by three local non-league football bloggers @backofthestand2, @VFTAE and @EastHullPete the game is sure to get a lot of local twitter coverage. Match Ball Sponsor for this game will be Joinery Depot who have kindly donated some replacement doors to spruce up the changing rooms at Haworth park after some recent vandalism.
