Lambwath through to u15's cup final after bruising battle with Beverley

Lambwath and Beverley came head to head in a bruising game at Beverley leisure centre in the u15s youth cup semi final.

From the kick off both teams were up for the game with some excellent tackles been made by both teams. It wasnt until late in first half that lambwath made a break through with some strong running from Tom Cole saw him step his way through several Beverley tacklers to score in the corner the goal was added on by Tom Mitchell lambwath lead 6 – 0 at half time.

lambweth lions2nd half started as first half ended with both teams making strong runs and at times bruising tackles with Beverley trailing they threw everything at lambwath for lambwath defence to stay solid. The game at times got fiery with referee having to step in a high tackle resulted in lambwath taking the penalty tom Mitchell kicking another goal to make it 8 -0 Beverly tried hard to claw the game back but lambwath held strong in what was a great game by both teams.

Lambwath u15s now face Myton warriors in the final.
